How do I order my medications?
•  Call us toll-free at 1-888-370-1724.  Please have the Rx number of each of the prescriptions you need handy.

•  Order from the Refill Prescriptions section of this website.

•  Email us at refill@amberpharmacy.com.  Please provide your first and last name, the Rx number of each of the prescriptions you need, the date you need your prescription (date you will run out of your current supply), and your phone number.

Do I need to pay for my prescription before you send me my medications?
No.  We will send you your prescribed medications and then file all your health insurance claims for you, including Medicare and Medicaid.  You will receive a monthly statement for any outstanding amounts due, such as co-pays or portions that were not covered by your health plans.

What if I forget to order my medications?
It is important that you keep track of your medications and be responsible for managing your supply.  If you choose to participate in our Refill Reminder service, we will call you 7-10 days before your medications run out to remind you to reorder.  If your prescription hasn’t changed, we can take your re-order at that time.  If you still forget to reorder until you're almost out of your meds, we will send your medications to you overnight and you will be billed an express fee of $25.00.

How does Amber Pharmacy’s Auto Refill Program work?
If you wish to have your medications automatically delivered to the same address every month, just let us know.  However, it is your responsibility to let us know if your address changes or if your doctor modifies your prescription in any way.

What if my doctor changes my medications at the last minute and I need overnight delivery of my new prescription?
If your doctor changes your prescription, we will deliver your new medications free of charge via overnight service.

What is my 20% Medicare co-pay?
If you are eligible for Medicare coverage, Medicare will pay 80% of the cost for transplant medications.  Our pharmacists can tell you the amount of your co-pay at the time you place your refill order.

Will you fill prescriptions that are unrelated to my transplant?
Yes.  We can fill most prescriptions that are ordered by a qualified health care professional.  We can also mail
over-the-counter medications to you.

How long does it take you to ship my medications once I place my order?
In most cases, our pharmacists dispense your medications and complete your order the same day you call.  All regular orders are shipped via Priority Mail and should arrive to you within 2-3 days of your order.

What if my insurance changes?
Unless you notify us of a change of insurance, we will be unaware of important information that will effect your claims.  Please let us know of any insurance plan changes.

Please provide your first and last name, address, social security number, the name of your new insurance plan, its Effective Date, Cardholder Name and Date of Birth, Cardholder ID, Group Number, and the address and phone number of your new insurance company (can be found on the back of your insurance card).
