Amber Pharmacy Names Michael R. Agostino President
OMAHA, NE, October 20, 2008 -- Amber Pharmacy today named Michael R. Agostino to the position of President, reporting to Tim Kaplan Co-Owner and Chief Operations Officer. "When we learned of Mike's proven track record of leadership in Pharmacy along with his ability to recognize service models needed within the Managed Care Industry, our Board of Directors unanimously agreed that Mike would be an excellent addition to our Team," said Kaplan. "Mike has successfully navigated throughout the payor industry, building credible business relationships." Mike's 15 years of experience within the Walgreen Company included operations, sales, business development, small business solutions, contracting and client services. "The level of respect that Amber has earned within the industry is impressive," said Agostino. "Specialty pharmacy services with a focus on service basics, the ability to be nimble with core family values is what will help Amber remain very competitive within a shrinking provider pool". Amber Pharmacy is a privately held company that was founded in 1989. Currently, Amber Pharmacy's hub location is located in Omaha, NE with satellite locations in Dallas, Philadelphia and Chicago. Amber Pharmacy is also owned by William Kaplan, Sr, CEO and William Kaplan, Jr, CPO.
